Cambridge Architectural Stone
Cast Stone is a redefined architectural precast concrete building stone made from a mixture of White and Grey Portland cements combined with coarse and fine aggregates of limestone.

This combination of materials is then used in two different production methods (Dry Cast and Wet Cast). Dry cast is produced when the material is Semi-dry and multiple units can be taken from a single mould during the course of one day creating larger production runs resulting in competitive costs for the units.

Wet cast is produced when the materials are wet and single units are produced each day from single moulds. Production runs are lower and costs are higher, however, additional moulds do increase production time. Due to the material being wet, units are much more dense than Dry Cast and strength is doubled, cutting down dramitically on
transport/ handling damage.
